Challenge Row PID Loop Temperature Control Screen
This screen allows the operator to choose a setpoint, choose manual or PID control, change PID tuning parameters, force the output to a particular value, etc. Temperature is controlled by a mixing valve assembly that mixes a warm and cold stream to arrive at the desired temperature. The Opto22 controller sends a 4-20 mA control signal to the valve assembly, which converts this to % open and closed for the two metering valves that are contained within. |
