Introduction/Release notes ----------------------------------------- Turbocraft, Inc. has created a time-saving array of products for users of Opto 22's FactoryFloor® suite of software. PID_Control contains a pre-built, ready-to-use project for PID control in FactoryFloor® 3.1d or later. It is a software, rather than hardware, based solution. Both an OptoControl strategy and an OptoDisplay operator interface are provided with full trending and control. The strategy uses Turbocraft's PID_loop_SG subroutine as the core of the PID control chart. It is based on the PID equation used in Opto 22 hardware, but with a few additions designed to help flatten the input curve, and respond better to process transients. This project is a fully functioning example of how to build a project strategy and operator interface around the PID_loop_SG subroutine. The user simply configures the controller and I/O, changes the input and output scales and links if required in the OptoDisplay interface and then the project is ready to download to the controller and run. Release Notes: Version 1.0 First release I.
